   Welcome to our web site!

We are glad you came to visit, and hope you enjoy looking around our site!  At a glance you will notice that our dogs, and Flat Coats in general, enjoy being with people and are raised as part of the family.  This close bond between dog and human has led us to many successful ventures in the show ring, field and hunt tests, as well as achievement in obedience competitions, agility trials, and tracking tests.  However, we value our dogs mostly for what they bring into our lives on a daily basis: unconditional love, humor, and harmony with nature.

   The move from Flat Coat owner/exhibitor to breeders of these wonderful dogs came with our first litter bred in 1988. We now breed an occasional litter and have co-bred a litter with Kathleen Stevens in 2011.  As members of the Flat Coated Retriever Society of America and the Flat Coated Retriever Society of Canada, we abide by their rules and regulations.

New MACH!  Judy Gemperline and Libby finish their title at Hounds For The Holidays Trial in Milwaukee!

11 month old Kitt (Paradise Clarenjoy The Whole Kit-and-Kaboddle) earns a 5 pt. major, BOW and BOS with owner/handler Eileen Gevers today in Council Bluffs, Iowa!  Congratulations!

Jen Warren and Jake knock off their Open Jumpers title!  Congrats!

10 1/2 month old Logan and Ray Czubek earn the UKC Element Title in nosework !  Great sniffing!

Judy and Libby are working on MACH points now that they have 20 Double Q's under their belt!  Great work, guys!
